At CBBC Career College we’re dedicated to providing our students with a quality education, but our commitment to them doesn’t stop there. Once they graduate they need to find the employment that they have always dreamed of, and we’re with them every step of the way.

Greg Cole is the dedicated force behind the CBBC Career College Career Services department. He is an engaging and caring person who’s passion about helping our students find success after graduation is contagious. He has more than 20 years of experience as a human resources and operations professional and he channels that knowledge and experience into his job.

Q: Hey Greg! Thank you so much for taking the time to chat with us today.  So what is your official title at CBBC Career College and how long have you worked in that role?

Greg Cole: My official title is simply Career Services and I’ve worked in that role for the past year. I’ve worked in human resources and operations roles for the past 20+ years and have worked in career services in the private college sector before. This experience puts me in a great position to help our students and grads be job ready when they graduate and head out looking for that new career.

Q: Tell us a bit about career services. What exactly do you do?

GC: Career Services works with our students and graduates on all things job-related. While they are here as a student we help them craft resumes and cover letters that work, practice interview skills, and discuss job market and job search strategies so that they are prepared to enter the job search (even before graduation). We also work alongside their instructors to secure their field placements which is an important step in gaining on-the- job experience and a meaningful reference as part of their resume building.

Q: How does CBBC Career  College differ from other schools in their ability to find placements and jobs for graduates?

GC: We place a high emphasis on community and industry relationships with those businesses most likely to hire our graduates. I’m constantly in touch and networking (even through COVID!) with business owners and hiring managers who could take on a student for field placement, and perhaps even hire after they graduate. My goal is to be top of mind when these businesses are looking for students or to expand their hiring so that they call us first, before even placing a job ad.

Q: That is really impressive. What percentage of students graduate from CBBC Career College with jobs?

GC: We currently have a 93% graduate employment rate – something to be really proud of!

Q: What is the most exciting story from your career that you can share with us? Any really cool placement or job stories from our students?

GC: I once placed a student in a field placement where they got to job shadow an astronaut and journey to the international space station!

Q: WHAT? You did?

GC: (laughs) No, not really, but that would be a really cool one! Field placements often aren’t glamorous but are exciting regardless to the student as it’s usually their first experience working in the field that excited and motivated them to come to CBBC in the first place. I’m always excited to work with them to get them into that placement and hear their stories when they finish up.

Career Services is all about relationships so I’m constantly encouraging students and employers alike to reach out or stop by to say hello and talk more about how I can help them out. Those meetings, and seeing the results that come out of them over the long term, is what gets and keeps me excited to be part of our team here at CBBC.

Q: How do potential employers get in touch with you if they’re interested in adding a CBBC Career College graduate to their team?

I can be reached at or at (902) 706-5529 ext 243
