To meet the ever-increasing demand across the province, CBBC also offers a Medical Laboratory Assistant Distance program for students residing anywhere in Nova Scotia. The 30-week program combines online theoretical studies with practical training in real medical settings within local communities (where available). Students also complete on-site labs over a 4-week period at our Dartmouth campus, ensuring they gain the essential hands-on experience needed to succeed in their future workplace.
