They are in need right now of healthcare workers to fight the current pandemic. Please read below and if you are interested in applying, please click the button below.
Dear Continuing Care Assistant students,
There is much planning underway across the health care system to ensure Nova Scotia has an adequate supply of health care professionals, including assistive personnel, available to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ensuring residents of long term care facilities continue to receive essential care and services in their homes is a high priority at this time. There is currently a need to rapidly deploy assistive personnel to long term care facilities who are experiencing staffing challenges related to COVID-19.
Health care employers are seeking students in the Continuing Care Assistant program across the province who are available for paid employment to provide much-needed support as assistive personnel in long term care, and potentially other areas in the future.
Those interested in employment may apply through the following link at the Nova Scotia Health Authority:
You will be contacted by the NSHA and/or long term care facilities as the need for assistive personnel arises.
We appreciate that there is much uncertainty during this unprecedented time and we thank you for your invaluable contributions.

I highly recommend CBBC Career College to anyone interested in pursuing what they have to offer. They have gone far to support all the students in my class in pursuing their goals. I have been very satisfied with my experience at the college.
