CBBC Career College is proud to be doing it’s part to educate much-needed Early Childhood Educators (ECE’s). Last week the Government of Nova Scotia announced a Federal partnership that will create 9,500 early learning and child-care spaces, including new spaces for infants and toddlers, by March 31, 2025, and a new early learning program for three-year-olds, which will be included in existing child-care centres.

This means that hundreds of new jobs will be created for ECE’s in a sector that is already experiencing a shortage. An article by the CBC reports that a ‘substantial’ number of jobs will soon be available for trained individuals who are looking to enter the field.

CBBC’s ECE program will get Early Childhood Educators trained in half the time that a traditional training program will. Our 48-week Early Childhood Education Level 2 program consists of both theory and practical training. This regulated and provincially approved Diploma program will have students career-ready in under one year while most Early Childhood Education programs across the province of Nova Scotia are delivered over two years.

What Our Graduates Are Saying

This program prepared me and gave me the confidence to enter the real business world. The close knit atmosphere CBBC has, made me very comfortable. Each and every staff member at CBBC was extraordinarily helpful on my journey in obtaining a full-time Administrative Assistant position in Cape Breton.
