Please Note: Starting January 22, 2024, all applicants who do not already have a study permit are required to receive a letter of attestation from the province of Nova Scotia before submitting their study permit application to IRCC.

Currently, Nova Scotia is in the process of developing the Attestation Letter process and has until a deadline of March 31s, 2024 to do so. Any CBBC study permit application submitted on or after January 22, 2024, without an attestation letter, will be considered incomplete and returned.

Therefore, at this time, it is recommended that international students pause their plans and wait for more clarity from the province about how to apply and receive the Letter of Attestation. This notice will be updated as we learn more.
