5 Years Of Supporting “Gift From The Heart”

“Gift from the Heart” is a day set aside for Registered Dental Hygienists all across Canada to share their skills and knowledge and provide oral health care to the public who are financially unable to receive dental hygiene care.
On Saturday, April 6, the Cape Breton Dental Hygienist Association used CBBC’s dental lab to provide free teeth cleaning to 46 residents of Industrial Cape Breton.
Cape Breton’s dental community (both dentists and hygienists) utilizes CBBC’s dental lab 6 times per year to provide pro bono services to individuals who cannot afford to pay for these services.
Next month, CBBC’s Dental Assisting program will be providing its annual clinic that is open to the public for free dental services. We are very proud to be able to give back to the community.
