We Have Two Training Salons For Hands-On Learning!

CBBC Career College operates two full-service training salon and spa locations for our cosmetology and aesthetics students that are an essential part of the training process! These specialized campuses make sure that our students graduate with the skills that they need to be successful in the difficult and highly rewarding beauty industry.
CBBC Career College Salon and Spa in Sydney and Regency Training Salon in Halifax are very special places. It’s here that our students are able to put all of their hard earned theory into practice, developing their skills and becoming the skilled practitioners that we’re known for developing. We offer services to the general public at discounted rates so students can gain the skills necessary to be fully comfortable in all aspects of hair design and aesthetics, and learn the day-to-day management of operating a salon.
Seeing real clients (once they’re ready) our students not only learn how to cut, colour, polish, and massage with the best of them, but they really learn how to take care of their clients. Working in the beauty industry is all about empowering others to look and feel their best. Working with clients is a collaborative process and our students learn how to listen to the needs and wants of individuals and make their dreams come true all while being supervised by master level instructors.
But the education that our students get in the salon isn’t just about executing cuts and services so that they can pass provincial licensing exams. They learn about the day to day management and running of a salon. We develop salon professionals with great technical ability, business and marketing training, and guest handling skills that are in high demand by top salons and spas.
